What is SmartWebDesk?

SmartWebDesk is our complete student learning platform with 1 lakh+ practice questions, class notes, games, and tools.

How does AI proctoring work during an exam?

Where enabled, the candidate's camera, microphone, and browser activity can be monitored for integrity signals such as face presence, tab switching, and other session rules. Flags raise a risk score for human review instead of auto-failing a candidate.

Do students need to install any software?

No installation is required for standard exams. A supported browser with camera and microphone access is enough; high-stakes exams can optionally require browser lock or fullscreen mode.

Can the platform detect multiple people in the frame?

Yes. Where multi-face detection is enabled, additional people in the camera frame can be flagged with a timestamp for reviewer follow-up.

What happens when cheating is suspected?

The session can be flagged with a risk score and reason code. Final academic decisions stay with your institution after human review.

Is student data stored securely?

We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and role-based access so only authorised staff can open sensitive exam and identity records.

Can we brand the platform with our institution's identity?

Professional and Enterprise plans are designed to support custom branding such as logo and colour theme as your rollout grows.

Does SmartWebDesk support subjective and descriptive exams?

Yes. Objective sections can be graded instantly, while subjective answers can be routed to teachers with review tools.

How many candidates can take an exam at the same time?

The platform is designed for concurrent online sessions. Capacity depends on your plan, exam settings, and hosting environment — we will help you size a pilot before a large live exam.

Can we integrate SmartWebDesk with our existing LMS?

API-based integration is on the roadmap for Enterprise customers for rostering and result sync. Contact us to discuss your LMS requirements.

What devices are supported for taking an exam?

Desktop and laptop browsers are recommended for proctored exams; practice content may also work on tablets depending on the exam rules.

How is a candidate's identity verified?

Today we use a live photo matched against the registered profile photo when verification is required. Government ID document capture is built into the platform roadmap for a future release but is not enabled yet.

Can institutions customise the anti-cheating rules per exam?

Yes. Rules such as tab-switch limits, fullscreen, dual-monitor checks, and calculator access can be configured per exam.

What reporting is available after an exam?

Score reports and integrity-related signals can be reviewed after the attempt and exported where enabled for your role.

Is there a free trial?

Students can start 2 practice tests without paying. That allowance is only for the student learning platform. Schools, shops, and institutes do not get those tests — reach out and we can discuss a small pilot so you can evaluate School ERP, Invoice, or online exams before a wider rollout.

How long does onboarding take?

As a new product company, we onboard institutions carefully. A focused pilot can usually start quickly; larger multi-branch rollouts depend on your content, users, and integration needs.

Can certificates be verified by third parties?

Certificates can carry a verification reference linked to the issuing institution's record, subject to how you configure certificate templates.

What support is available if something goes wrong during a live exam?

Support channels depend on your plan. For live exam windows, contact us in advance so we can align coverage with your schedule.

Does the platform work on low-bandwidth connections?

Exam flows are designed to stay usable on typical broadband. Very poor networks may limit camera-heavy proctoring features — we recommend a connectivity check before high-stakes exams.

How is pricing calculated?

School ERP has no fee. A school does not pay to use it. The student plan is one price: ₹199 for 6 months. It does not renew by itself.

Do you provide current affairs, class notes, and education blogs?

Yes. SmartWebDesk includes Current Affairs, class-wise subject notes, and education blogs so students can prepare beyond exams. Teachers publish content; admins can approve it before students see it.

What appears in the student panel sidebar?

The main sidebar shows Dashboard, Online Exams, Practice Tests, Mock Tests, Quick Notes, PDF Tools, English Practice, My Question Bank, Friends, Challenge Arena, and Social. Are health monitoring and educational games included for students?

Yes. Under More → Health Monitoring you get Yoga Library and Healthy Meals. Under More → Educational Games you get Home Decor, Quiz Battle, Fast Finger, Flash Cards, Sudoku, Mental Math, Word Search, Memory Match, GK Treasure Hunt, AI Duel, Daily Spin, Daily Missions, Tournament, and Leaderboards. Access may depend on your subscription plan.

How do subscription plans control student menu access?

Each plan includes a set of menu keys (for example mock-tests/premium on paid tiers). Dashboard, Profile, Settings, Logout, and Subscription pages stay available on every plan. If a menu is locked, upgrade from Subscription → Plans or start a free trial when offered.
